new service
So I switched my service over to tmobile and kept my number but my tmobile acct actually shows a different number..not my actual #.
Also, my sister has two phones on my plan and she kept both her numbers as well but she's scared to activate them now bc she's afraid that her numbers won't carry over like they should. This is so confusing. Why are the #s different on the tmobile app and not showing actual phone numbers or at least the imeis so we know what line is what?!?! Help!
You're assigned temporary numbers until the port is complete. It's usually just a few hours but sometimes it can take a little longer.
Basically when someone calls or text your number in the port process it's forwarded to the temporary number that shows on your account.
