EIP Payoff and cellular data cancelation

If I purchased an Apple Watch at a discounted amount because I added a cellular data plan to the watch, can I cancel the the data plan if I pay off my balance early? Or will I be responsible for the full retail price as a consequence to canceling the data plan, even though I paid off the EIP early?

    I just bought a Pixel off Amazon at a discounted price that way if I didn't like the cellular part of the watch I could cancel anytime.

    The EIP is jist for the cost of the device.  The data term would still apply.
