Dads plan
I was wanting to upgrade my phone but i am on my fathers plan . My current phone is paid off and I was curious if I had to pay anything to get a new phone or if i could just upgrade
also since youre on your fathers account you might not be able to upgrade without his permission depending on how he has you on his account. worst case he would need to chance your status to allow any time upgrades etc.
There is an upgrade fee disguised as an activation fee for new devices. Taxes are due for a new device up front when upgrading.
