Changing plans

What are the rules around changing plans, like if I need to downgrade? Can I do it at anytime? 

  • You can switch plans when you want.  However, those changes won't take effect until the next billing cycle.  If your plan is a requirement for a promotion and or discount.  Downgrading your plan will cancel the promo and or discount.

    Try signing into your mytmobile account and you should be able to switch plans but you may lose any credits.

    I haven't signed up yet. I'd be switching from another carrier.

    I want to upgrade my plan. Will the change appear the day I make it?

  • I have been trying to downgrade my plan because I was paying 140 dollars for one line and that's just not an option. After speaking with two different reps I was assured my plan would be downgraded to a much cheaper plan. I received my bill today and I am still on magneta max. Not sure why my plan is not being downgraded. I don't use apple TV I have to pay for my own paramount TV, HBO max, Disney plus and hulu. I never catch tmobile Tuesday so the only perk applies to me is Netflix which does not cost 90 dollars a month to get for free. I need some assistance on this please or I am going to switch my plan back to metro pcs

    To be honest unless you are locked into a promotion you are stuck and there's no way out but to pay off the device .... I work in phone sales just not at TMobile but the way they do things is messed up like understand if I can do anything about the installment but to FORCE a person to keep a particular plan so they don't lose profit is crazy.... give me 2 Months im putting the entire balance of all the phone one a Credit Card and leaving... be honest just by the phones from the manufacturer at this point it's heavy up front but it's lighter over time guaranteed!!! 💯💶
