Good phone

After having my S9 for a little over 3 years and enjoying a low phone bill because all the phones were paid off we decided it was time to stop dealing with broken fingerprint sensors, weak charging ports and cracked screens. The S21+5G has been awesome so far. it feels and looks nice, the cameras are great, and lots of features my wife and I are still figuring out about. The ultra fast charging is a plus. The ONLY downside was that it does use the new-new C type charger and does not come with a charging box that plugs into the wall. We found some at wal-mart for 15$ though. I highly recommend this phone!

Firmware/Software issues plague devices

The phone is great. It feels good in the hand, it takes great pictures, it's fast and the battery life last all day with medium usage. However; had to return the device. Due to a firmware issues on the S21 series, some devices have issues with cellular data not working when trying to download apps from the Play Store and some Google apps not working (YouTube for example). I was told that there would be a software update that would fix it, but ffter spending days on the phone with T-Mobile and Samsung, they told it this was a known issue, and offered to replace the device with a refurbished unit. I decided to return it for a refund instead of accepting a refurbished unit.

Apple garbage with an Android sticker on it

I've been a long time Samsung device user and just upgraded from my Note 9 to the S21+. So far I'm very disappointed, it seems they're copying everything Apple does these days. If I wanted an iPhone I would've bought one. Bixby is being pushed more than ever, you now have to hold down the Bixby/Power button and the volume in order to get to the power screen(Same as Apple). I'm also very disappointed in the lack of headphone jack, charger cable and SD card slot. Not to mention so far there are several apps that won't load at all while trying to setup my device, not great for a brand new phone.
I will not be purchasing another Samsung device in the future.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Samsung at it again

Unfortunately Samsung has gerd this for people either to buy the regular S21 or the S21 Ultra.. For $200 more then the S21 there was Alot of "corners" cut for the 21+ that didn't need to be for that $200 More. S21 & S21+ are the Same exact phone aside from Screen size an Battery.. Thats ALL $200 More gets you. Yet spend $200 more then that you Get the S21 Ultra.. The S21+ should Have something more worth that $200 extra.. Like More Ram or Better screen Res Something that makes the S21+ in the Middle between the S21U & S21. Whether it's a good phone or not is to be seen. But the $200+ price isn't for what you get

overheats & video shuts down after 15 mins

I've had this device for a week and have tried to use it to film my kids bball games and it shuts down after 15 mins due to overheating. The battery also barely makes it to the end of the day, even with battery saver on. Not very impressed with the expensive phone...

Pretty good device for this price range

See a lot of hate on this device in these reviews. It's actually pretty good. If battery life and smaller display and plastic back is for you then go with the regular s21, if the ultra is too big but you like bigger displays, longer battery life and want more premium feel with a glass back without the price tag of the ultra then this will be the phone for you. Battery life is awesome and picture quality is amazing. More true to life photos than last years s20 and detail is great. Samsung went in the right direction with a lower price tag than last year

Great phone but still needs improvements

Upgrading from the S10+ I'm really enjoying this phone. The underdisplay fingerprint sensor has improved and is still the best unlocking method IMO. I also love that this is a flat screen. Thank you Samsung!! The amount of extra glare and color distortion you get on the edges of curved screens simply aren't worth putting up with. I would've bought the S21 Ultra for the better camera if it had a flat screen. Battery life has been solid and the display is gorgeous, although I would prefer a slightly shorter aspect ratio so 16x9 videos fit better. The pictures from the camera are good but still over exposed. Samsung needs to find a way to tone that down to provide a better contrast and more "true to life" photo experience.
Overall I'd recommend buying if you can get a good deal on it.

I downgraded to S21+ from the S9+

I am disappointed with this phone. I should have kept my S9+.
The 21+ has half the battery life of the 9+ with the same usage rates, so I went from charging overnight to adding a mid-day charge. It is more difficult than it should be to restart or turn off the device. Screenshots are awkward to take. Also, no SD card? I downgraded space too, apparently. Periodically resets my app settings (not an app problem, definitely device problem; this impacts ALL my apps, including calendar, Facebook, weather app, finance apps, messenger, etc)
I randomly lose service standing next to my husband when he has service on his 21 Ultra (my phone shows full 5G bars but nothing works and incoming calls go straight to voicemail).
Device is still good for taking photos, playing offline games, and messaging people when you're okay with it taking a while to send the message.

Very nice phone!

I have had Androids ever since the smart phone era started. We decided to give Apple a try and we'll that lasted 2 weeks and I'm back home with Android. I am very pleased with the 21+ it's not my first Samsung. The only downside to this phone is that the battery life could be a little better, having said that you also have to try and remember that the phones are getting more powerful every year so I guess it's something to get used too.

Amazing phone

My husband love his new phone, he didn't care for SD slot and headphone jack. This phone has amazing battery life and great at taking pictures. Honestly it's not a bad phone everyone complaining over things it doesn't come with. Take the negative views out it's still technically a good phone. It's better than dealing with Apple products that doesn't offer a lot they tent to be more overpriced and not as good as Samsung He's happy with this phone, it's upgrade for us getting these phone on a deal trading in our old Galaxy S10s in.
