Getting started

Download on the App Store icon.Get it on Google Play

  1. A smartphone with Android 9 or higher / Apple iOS 16 or higher
  2. Download and install the T-Life app.
  3. Open the app. If prompted, sign in with your T-Mobile ID
  4. Review and agree to the terms & conditions.
  5. Agree to the Notification and Location permissions for the app.

View DRIVE location

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP DRIVE in the Things section.
  3. View the device location on the map.
 

Manage DRIVE

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP DRIVE in the Things section.
  3. Choose Manage in DRIVE to switch to the SyncUP DRIVE app.

SyncUP Tracker

View Tracker location

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. The location will appear on the map.
 

View and create a virtual Boundary

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Select Virtual Boundaries and choose to add a new one.
  4. Use the map or enter the address to your desired location.
  5. Enter the rest of the information, like a boundary name and included devices, then choose Save.
 

Get Directions to your TRACKER

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose Get Directions.
 

View Location History

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose Location History.
 

Change the device Tracking Mode

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the desired tracking mode.
 

Use the Light Sensor

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Tracker Notifications > Light Sensor.
  4. Choose if you want the light sensors to detect Dark to Light, Light to Dark, or both light event types.
 

Use Motion Alert

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Tracker Notifications > Motion Alert.
 

View Notifications

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Bell icon.
 

Refresh Location

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Location Refresh.
 

Change notification settings

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.

Edit your device profile

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Cusomize to change the following:
    • Tracker Type
    • Image Type
    • Avatar
    • Device Name
 

View Device information

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Device Information.
 

Report an issue

 
  1. Open T-Life.
  2. From anywhere in the app, shake your phone and select Report a bug.
  3. Choose Connect > SyncUP TRACKER to report an issue with your SyncUP TRACKER device or app.
 

Help Center

 
  1. Open T-Life and choose the Connect tab.
  2. Select the SyncUP Tracker in the Things section.
  3. Choose the Gear icon and select Help Center.

Scam Shield

Can't find the steps or something not working right? Use the Scam Shield app instead.

 

Sign up/unsubscribe for Scam Shield Premium

 

Sign up

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Upgrade to Scam Shield Premium > Upgrade to Premium and follow the on-screen steps to complete sign-up.

Unsubscribe

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Scam Shield Settings.
  4. Choose Subscription > Remove Scam Shield Premium.
  5. Confirm removal by selecting Downgrade > Got it.
 

Turn Scam Block on or off

 
  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select the toggle next to Scam Block to turn it on or off.
 

Report calls

 
  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. In the Recent activity section, select See all.
  4. Choose the desired call and select Report Caller.
  5. Select the appropriate category that best represents the type of call, and then choose Report.
  6. Premium users only: Choose Add this number to blocked list to block future calls from this number.
 

Report texts

 

While there’s no option to report spam texts in the Scam Shield app, we have other options to report spam messages.

 

Add a number to the Allow list

 
  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Allowed numbers, then choose the Menu icon with three dots:
    • To add, enter the 10-digit number or find the number on the call list, then select Add.
    • To delete, select the desired number in the list, then select Delete.
 

Enable Caller ID (for applicable rate plans)

 
  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Caller ID.
  4. Use the toggle to turn Incoming caller ID on or off. This does not impact Outgoing caller ID.
 

Block a number from calling (Premium Only)

 

Blocked number lists are stored on the network and automatically transfer to new devices.

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield > Blocked numbers.
  3. Select the Menu icon with three dots to Add or Delete a contact from the blocked list.
    • To add, enter the 10-digit phone number or find the contact on the call list and choose Add.
    • To delete, select the desired number and choose Delete.
 

Block Spam categories (Premium only)

 

To avoid Spam calls from ringing the device, Premium Subscribers can choose categories of calls to send directly to voicemail without ringing.

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Block spam categories.
  4. Choose the toggle next to a category to turn it on or off.
 

Reverse number lookup (Premium only)

 

To receive additional information from unknown numbers, Premium Subscribers can look up a number from our Caller ID databases. Not all numbers have a Caller ID name. If a number doesn't return a Caller ID name, it's because the number owner chose not to add this information.

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Reverse Number Lookup.
  4. Enter the 10 digit number and select Lookup.
 

Send to Voicemail list (Premium only)

 

Premium Subscribers can forward calls directly to voicemail without ringing. This does not block the number and callers can leave a voicemail.

  1. Open T-Life and select the Manage tab.
  2. Under Benefits, choose Scam Shield.
  3. Select Send directly to voicemail, then choose the Menu icon with three dots:
    • To add, enter the 10-digit number or find the number on the call list, then select Add.
    • To delete, select the desired number in the list, then select Delete.
