LAS VEGAS (BUSINESS WIRE), March 03, 2016 - Sprint (NYSE: S) is pleased to partner with Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada in Las Vegas to provide a VIP NASCAR experience to more than 20 children with life-threatening medical conditions. The group will receive full access to the Sprint suite for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice and the Boyd Gaming 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race. They will have a chance to meet Miss Sprint Cup, see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship trophy and visit with a NASCAR celebrity. The celebration gets underway at noon, Saturday, March 5, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Additionally, one Wish Kid is traveling from Washington to attend his first NASCAR sanctioned race and fulfill a dream.
“We hope that all of these children and their family members will enjoy a wonderful VIP experience at the NASCAR races in Las Vegas,” said Greg Post, president-Mountain Southwest Region, Sprint. “Sprint is proud and honored to offer Make-a-Wish this opportunity and to fulfill many children’s dreams.”
Each child attending this weekend’s event has already received their one true wish, but in honor of their support and inspiration, they are invited to enjoy an afternoon of VIP treatment inside the Sprint suite at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. These Wish Kids represent the 1,700 children who have received their one true wish in Southern Nevada, all because of the support from the community.
Also, Sprint is offering local fans the opportunity to meet Miss Sprint Cup and see the Sprint Cup trophy from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Sprint retail store at 1040 E. Flamingo Road C-D. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., NASCAR fans can enter to win tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, and one grand-prize winner will have a chance to win a Pace-Car ride1.
