Re: New to TMobile but the Support never works
Reply to: Fireguy Sorry for not replying sooner I was in Washington and had no phone or internet service with T Mobile. I didn’t have phone service (carrier was formerly ATT) and the billing started on 08/17. I visited the store prior to departure also made contact with several reps at T-Mobile and ATT regarding this matter. Regardless, I did go to a T-Mobile store and made several calls again to T-Mobile - ATT and now Frontier was in the loop (my number was transferred to them?) Anyway, I didn’t have phone service from T-Mobile until 9/23 fortunately I was in Oregon by then. The other phone is still in limbo since 08/17. Both phones I was bringing over from ATT were suppported by T-Moblie when I started this adventure on 08/17. They are older I-Phone models and next year I planned on buying new I-Phones. Meanwhile, not only am I being billed by T-mobile for 2 phones (They did adjust the August Bill) September bill included 2 phones but neither phone was operational, plus a Protection Plan for both phones which I didn’t sign up. I still haven’t figured out the October bill but it is more than last month. Please note T-Mobile is a German company. They just jumped in the US Market and over sold the internet. The other day my Mac told me I couldn’t login to the internet because there were to many users with the same Wi-Fi address29Views0likes0CommentsNew to TMobile but the Support never works
I am new to TMobile as an internet provider and for my location happy with my access. So I decided to transfer my phone from my current provider and add an existing phone (with no service). Started this journey on Aug 13th tried doing it on-line. The only way to do this on-line was by buying a phone. Nor could it be resolved Chat Service. Since I was still with the other provider I was able to call the support number. Asked for my current phone number to be added and for the 2nd phone to have a specific phone number - which was acknowledged that it was available. But when I signed into my account a few days later there were 2 assigned new numbers from T-Mobile. By then my old provider had disconnected my service. But my CC was charged for 2 SIM cards for $70. Which arrived quickly but were listed with the TMobile numbers. Made several attempts on-line to resolve this. Icing on the cake was the August bill included the addition of 2 phone lines. So I tried my old provider and the results were similar to T-Mobile’s. (who really has no coverage in my area - 2 bars) Went back on-line to T-Mobile and thought we were all set. But no SIM cards showed up by the Sept. 6 and I needed phone service. Told to go to the store and it would all be taken care of. And it wasn’t thru no fault of the staff - they were great. But on-line I was now listed as phone service. My solution was to buy a phone today. But they were unable to activate the other phone. Get out to my car to call my family and I have no contacts. The only way I could get thru was by direct dial. Came home to enter my contacts information and the app had no option to Add new contact. And there is no Phone Manual on T-Mobile for this phone or on any other website.172Views0likes2Comments
