I don’t think any of my clients are using anything less than 1500. I could put another router in between to make them smaller, but obviously not ideal.

Its an ethernet cable… use it the same as you would any other internet cable. No, it does not go into a phone jack.

Plug your main Orbi internet port into the trashcan and you should be good for most stuff. At least outbound stuff will work ok this way. Plex is way more difficult. Go over to Reddit and follow the T-Mobile ISP group.
