Re: What does 'No Data' mean?
gramps28 wrote: Since it's a grandfathered plan you probably can select the no data. On my One plan and Magenta plans there's an option to turn the data off but you're still getting charged. A lot of parents do this to keep their kids off the phone at night. It’s not a grandfathered plan. We’re just trying to reduce our bill. I just wanted to know what would happen to our phones if we chose No Data. My husband theorizes that if it controls the texting, by choosing No Data, we would end up unable to text or receive texts. Is this the correct train of thought? Thanks.517Views0likes0CommentsWhat does 'No Data' mean?
Regarding Add-ons, there are three options for service. The first is No Data (free). The second is SC UNL INcl w/6GB SMHS ($15/mo.), and then the third is Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data + 10 GB SMH ($30/mo.). We originally chose the third option, but we’re now trying to reduce our financial responsibilities, so we tried to switch to No Data. When I did that, however, it defaulted to choice #2 for $15. Why did it default? What happens when choosing No Data? Do our phones become non-operational? Feedback welcomed! Thanks.3.4KViews0likes5Comments
