Switched to wpa/wpa2 on 5Ghz and still wouldn't connect. Switched to 2.4Ghz and it connected fine. So as a test I switched back to 5Ghz and it connected fine and has ever since. No clue why it wouldn't connect at 5Ghz until after I connected at 2.4Ghz.
