I contacted customer service again and he stated he released the tablet line number. He then had me restart, and make sure it is connected to WIFI. He said to wait a couple hours and restart the iPad again and it will connect. He told me not to scan the QR code or enter the cellular plan manually as it will reset the eSim. But when I click on “Cellular Data” under “Settings” all I see is an option “Add Cellular Plan”. Hello. I have an iPad 10th gen w/cellular, unlocked. I had T-mobile add the Magenta Tablet Plan to my account providing the IMEI and EID. The rep had me power cycle the iPad which did not work in connecting to the cell network, even after disabling WIFI. He then had me scan the QR code, and attempt to add the cellular plan manually using (I was connected to WIFI): SM-DP+ Address SM-DP+ Address: T-MOBILE.GDSB.NET Activation code: [Blank] Confirmation code: [Blank] The rep mentioned the line is activated and that my iPad shows that it is fully unlocked on his system. None of the steps above he had me go through are working and he stated he will generate a new eSim for my iPad and I have to go in to a T-mobile store? I am not quite clear as to how this will resolve the issue with my iPad being able to connect to the cell network. Anyone encounter this issue? Thanks135Views0likes1Comment
