Incomplete Incoming Calls
I occasionally work from home and forward calls from my place of employment to my cell phone. Prior to February 2, 2024, I had no issues receiving calls through call forwarding from my office to my cell. Suddenly (and persistently) since 2/2/24, any calls that are placed to my office number that are forwarded to my cell cannot be completed. Callers receive a recording “We’re sorry, your call cannot be completed. Please try again later.” More succinctly, if my office number (123-456-7890) is forwarded to my cell (098-765-4321), calls made to (123-456-7890) receive the incomplete recording. Calls made directly to my cell are completed normally and, if I turn off call forwarding at work, calls made to my office are completed normally. My employer’s telecom team has reached out to our phone providers, who informed me this is a block on T-Mobile’s end. They’ve advised that I add my office number to my phone as a contact, so calls aren’t blocked as spam. That hasn’t worked. They advised that I turn off ScamShield, but I don’t use ScamShield, so that hasn’t worked either. I’ve tried turning off “Silence Junk Callers” and that hasn’t made a difference either. Is there a way to fix this??! I need to have call forwarding FROM work TO my cell back!!66Views0likes0Comments
