Re: Has anyone successfully used a app that requires UDP packets
Sorry, guys. No luck yet. Today UDP port 4993 which I use to control my ham radio station, was unblocked for about three hours and then blocked again. I have tried with no luck talking to a T-Mobile tech. If I uncover anything, I will post it here.6Views1like0CommentsHas anyone successfully used a app that requires UDP packets
I have seen several posts mentioning T-Mobile blocking UDP traffic. I have noticed that on random occasions, I am able to use my remote radio control app requiring UDP packets. It only lasts for a few hours and only once in a few days. Has anyone had any success with apps which require UDP. I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max and have tried both 5G and compatibility hotspot modes. I use my T-Mobile hotspot for an internet link to remote control my radio transceiver. I can reach the data server that links to my radio and log in. The log in works until it is time to receive vita49 data packets used to populate the remote radio display. The data appears to be blocked. When I connect within my home network, all data is passed and operations are normal. For those of you that are amateur radio operators, I am speaking of removing my Flex 6500 using Smartlink. Any comments would be appreciated. Bob W29Views0likes0Comments
