Android Feature Questions
Folks, My 8yr old LG has packed in. I got an Apple SE and I may have screwed up. Before handing it over to my partner I'd like to ask a couple of question on modern Androids: Do I need to have Cell Data ON in order to receive a message with an attachment? On my old LG, assume I have Cell Data OFF, I would get the text notification from Joe Bloggs and embedded in the text message was a rectangular box with "Download" text. At that point I could turn on Cell Data and download the attachment (usually a picture). Does this or similar functionality still exist. So.....I'm on about someone sending you a text with an attachment and you have Cell Data OFF but you still get a notification on your phone that you have a text message......sure to see the pic attachment you have to turn Cell Data on and click the DOWNLOAD icon but you do get the initial text notification? Do the phones have an alarm clock that allows multiple alarms to be set for different dates? Thanks41Views0likes0Comments
