Thanks for the reply. When you say check the settings, I’m assuming you mean make sure they are turned on. They are, and still won’t acquire any of the local networks here. Works fine on wi-fi, but not on mobile networks.

I have a moto G Play 2021 phone, am currently traveling in Spain and Portugal. I have the Magenta 55+ plan. My phone works fine on wi-fi, but won’t connect to local networks. I have data roaming turned on. Ideas? Problem #2. I went ahead and purchased a local sim card while I tried to sort this out. My sim card drawer is apparently jammed and won’t open, so I can’t insert it. No one in several phone stores has been able to get the drawer to open. Ideas? If I take the back of the phone off, can I can force the drawer open -- carefully? thanks for any ideas.
