I use an android phone and For the past 2 to 3 days, my data has been so slow that I can't access downloads on certain apps. I don't what it is, but its getting annoying. Usually, I would just chalk it up to t mobile tower troubles. However, I've had a history of my data coverage being so trashy. And it's because of one thing that still don't freaking understand and that: the carrier hub application. Someone explain to what the hell it does and why does my service always get worse when is have to mess for an update or permission or whatever. I've been dealing with this carrier hub bull crap for a few good years using t mobile and it still gets on my nerves.65Views0likes0CommentsGood signal/bars but no network connection many times daily
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. Any ideas?89KViews22likes79CommentsNetwork Connection
On the app and network box it says all the devices are connected with excellent connection but my tv constantly says not connected and I have to unplug and restart it every time I turn it back on because it says not connected and doesn’t find a connection until I unplug it and turn it back on.I thought it was a problem with my tv and after getting a new tv months later this issue has started back up and happens with several of the TVs in my house so I know it’s not a tv problem anymore why is this occurring and what can stop it from keep happening?55Views0likes0CommentsService outage in Ann Arbor, MI
Trying to get a hold of TMobile support or to find out if there’s an outage from last night’s storm. I am unable to make or receive any phone calls using mobile data. The phone only works for internet, when I turn on the wifi for a connection. The network seems to be trying to come on, every now and then, but it can’t seem to hold a signal for very long.210Views0likes0CommentsHotspot Usage when Not using Hotspot | Tidal running slow
I wanted to share my experience in case others are facing a similar issue: I received a new Samsung S24 in February. Since then, I've been receiving notifications about exceeding my hotspot data usage, even though the hotspot is turned off. This seemed strange. I reported this to T-Mobile support, but they kept pointing to their system showing I was using hotspot data and advised me to turn it off. Additionally, I use Tidal for music streaming. Recently, I've been unable to stream music using mobile data as it was extremely slow or wouldn't load at all. Today, after receiving another hotspot usage message (indicating I exceeded the 5GB cap without using the hotspot), I noticed my Tidal streaming stopped working on mobile data this billing cycle. I checked my phone's data usage, and it showed Tidal had used over 5GB of mobile data—the exact amount as the hotspot data cap. It seems T-Mobile's system was misreporting Tidal's mobile data usage as hotspot data. I tried explaining this to support, but they didn't acknowledge it. They reset the network connection to my phone, which seemed to resolve the issue. I suspect this problem might be related to T-Mobile's "Music Freedom" feature included in my plan, which is supposed to prioritize or differently handle music streaming traffic.181Views2likes3CommentsLow coverage area
There is an area on Lost Mountain Rd just north of Bullard Rd, south of Dallas Hwy in Powder Springs, GA (suburban Atlanta) which drops the signal momentarily when you drive through it. The coverage map says it has good coverage. I brought this up around 8 years ago (I can’t find that forum anymore) and was told there was a known tower issue and it was being resolved. Now, years later, and switch to 4G / 5G and the problem persists.28Views0likes0Commentscustomer service it's so outdated
I'm really REALLY tired of stupid customer service. Can you guys act like a big company and help me with my network unlock its been almost 3 months without any help. It's the worst customer service experience I ever had. If somebody reading this please don't go with t mobile or metro if you don't want the worst customer service89Views0likes1CommentIs the problem my old or t-mobile network?
Hello! I currently have an iPhone SE 2020 and use T-Mobile connect with 6 GB of data. I normally don’t use all 6. Occasionally while driving or trying to use the internet, my internet stops completely. I may have full bars and LTE showing it is on, but I can’t use my phone for anything including sending texts. I live in Iowa City, Iowa, which is a pretty populated area and should have 99.9% coverage at least according to the map. The biggest issue is when I am driving and need to use GPS. I have gotten lost in new areas at night because of this. Meanwhile my work phone (iPhone 12 with Verizon) is able to connect just fine as long as I have it on me. If I don’t have it on me, I am unable to find directions, contact family or friends to tell them where I am, or use the internet to search for help. Is the problem my old phone or lack of coverage? If it’s coverage, I am switching to Verizon despite T-Mobile claiming I have coverage everywhere including these dead spot areas. Please let me know what I can do. I am upgrading my phone to an iPhone 11 Pro soon and need to know if I need to switch to another Network.I have been very happy with T-Mobile otherwise, especially the low price for prepaid data. Thank you!!!Solved524Views0likes10CommentsIs A003SH, Aquos Sense 4 Basic compatible with T-Mobile?
I am a PhD student in Japan and I will be in the USA in March. However, I would like to know if my phone compatibility with the T-Mobile sim card network. In addition, my phone company told me the phone is a domestic phone based in Japan.
