How to redeem Netflix on Magenta MAX plan?
I just switched over from Sprint to T-Mobile today and also got put on the Magenta MAX plan because I was told Netflix is included for free in that. Unfortunately I’m not sure how to redeem it, or if I even can. I see that when I click Netflix under “Included in this plan” it takes me to a page that says “This feature is no longer available.” Am I too late to redeem it? Did they lie when I was in the store?
Why can't I get 3 line magenta for $105?
The website clearly says I can, but me and my wife are 55+ but I visited a local store twice and called today also, but was told I could not get the $105 for 3 lines on a 55+ magenta! but clearly the website says I could! Unlimited 55+ Discount Cell Phone Plans for Seniors | T-Mobile it says here one can get 3 lines Here it says both new and old customers can get it. but at the store I was told only 2 lines are allowed and when I said a friend has signed up it I was told only for new customers! and today another friend signed up the same thing! “ Who is eligible for Magenta Unlimited 55 or Magenta MAX Unlimited 55? All existing and new T-Mobile postpaid customers who are 55 years of age or older are eligible. To receive this discount, proof of age is required. New customers can sign up at their local T-Mobile store with government-issued ID. Existing customers can sign up by calling 1-800-T-Mobile or by visiting a local retail store. Can I have more than 2 lines on my Magenta Unlimited 55+ plan? Yes! Customers on a Magenta Unlimited 55+ or Magenta MAX Unlimited 55+ plan can have up to 4 voice lines on their account. On the Magenta Unlimited 55+ plan, 3rd and 4th lines are $35 each line per month with Auto Pay. On the Magenta MAX Unlimited 55+ plan, 3rd and 4th lines are $40 each line per month with Auto Pay. Customers can add additional lines by calling 1-800-T-Mobile or by visiting a local retail store. so what I am missing! how can others can get it but I was told no? I am currently paying $124 for 4 lines but I do not use the fourth line. So I would rather pay $105 for 3 lines + free netflix. why do they give me a runaround when the web says clearly there is one such a thing: 55+ magenta for $105 total (including taxes and fees0 for 3 lines? (do they have my age wrong?).
Magenta Max Plan Promo requirement/ Bait and Switch
I upgraded 2 phones (iPhone XR’s to iPhone 12 Pros) last week after being promised a trade-in promo credit of $830 per line. Without that promise, like I mentioned to the rep on the phone, I was ready to move on to Verizon. Not once during the entire hour long conversation was I told that I would have to switch to a new, more expensive plan to qualify for the deal. The whole point of sticking with T-Mobile instead of getting 2 free iPhone 12 Pro’s with Verizon was the monthly savings I would benefit from by keeping my current plan. After receiving and activating my new phones, I checked my account online and of course the promo was not there. The rep on the phone advised me that in order to qualify for it I would have to switch to a plan $30 more expensive and there was no way around it, regardless of whatever I was promised. Anyways my question is this, if I switch to the Magenta Max plan, can I also similarly bait and switch T-Mobile like they did with me? Meaning, can I move to the more expensive plan to qualify for this deal and then later switch back to the plan that was already working for me? Otherwise this might be my first and last post here in this community.
