FamilyWhere

Is there a way to stop notifyning someone when I look them up on FamilyWhere?

I have FamilyWhere for my employees.  I like to check in them throughout the day.  I have 4 phones for years that only send a text message every other month telling them I have the app and can follow them. 

But now worth my added line it actually tells them EVERY TIME I look them up.  How annoying.  They don't care and it bothers them throughout the day. 

Is there a way to turn this off?
