That is pretty much it.  If you are in the US and the person calling you calls your US number, regardless of where they are calling from.  They are incurring any calling charges if it is long distance for them to call you.  Leaving your “home area” US in most cases, has the potential to incur roaming charges because to complete that call, the call needs to be handed off to another provider for you to receive that call when you are not on your providers network.
