T-Mobile App keeps crashing

I just switched my phone along with 2 other phones in my plan( all the same model of Samsung phones)  to T-mobile. But one of the phones keeps having this problem where randomly the T-mobile app crashes and the pop up appears. I dont use this app on that particular phone. I tried contacting customer support via chat feature who after a very slow response rate and 2 hrs later still couldn’t solve the problem.  They even asked me to uninstall the app which they should know is not possible.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had the problem and knows how to fix this?

I don’t have a solution to your problem.  Just wanted to add I have the exact same problem on a Samsung S8 phone.  I also called tech support, and got the same ineffective help.  I told him numerous times there was no uninstall option for that program, and he kept repeating I needed to uninstall it,  Finally gave up.  Come on T Mobile.  Help us with this problem.

  • You're not the only one experiencing problems! I've looked all over the internet to try and figure this out, and I have found nothing!

For months, couldn't tell you how long.. I have been experiencing the app not working at all. It tells me I need to update the app, and then when I go into the play store it says it cannot be found.

You cannot delete the app because it's hardwired into the phone, so you cannot re-download it. You cannot find it on the app store to update it.. You're just STUCK. The only thing you can do is go online to do all you need to do and its absolutely dumb.

Glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with these issues, or something similar!

  • You know big irony is, I tried to fax to their S-TEAM as per employee's recommendation but that fax is not accepting any fax 📠 😭.

So no customer obsession at so called customer obsessioned company. They all need to listen their background audio message when put us on hold. They are not at all customer obsessed.

  • I’ve a similar problem since now 2+ months, and very annoying problem. I have called 4 times to tech experts so far, visited in-store when asked, but no luck so far. I can’t remove T-mobile app from the phone completely.

And, it is popping up every seconds when try to use phone. It made my flagship phone useless.

I have given up and decided to switch carrier. I even express this to tech expert, but seems like their software team have no clue and no priority to work on this. I have got a fax number 425-378-5005 from representative to report an issue to T-mobile’s S-Team. I am trying this last attempt with the help of some solution and/or alternatives to this mess. I have seen many complaints on Google Play store too.
