Suspicious Text?

Every time I text one of my friends, I get a text message from 571 269 5790 (apparently, but the sender could be messing with caller ID) saying "Receiver 15712695790 unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active.” This is not my friend's number and he receives the texts just fine, but is somebody copying every text I send him, or am I just being paranoid?
