Thanks so much for posting this. Had the exact same issue. T-Mobile store couldn’t get my phone to work either, so they ordered me a replacement. A few days later, after reading this and before collecting the replacement phone, I tried pressing the power button and it lit up with 0% charge. Plugged it in to charge and it’s now working. Didn’t even have to wait for the OS to copy/update. It just worked again.
Would be curious as to WHY this happened though.
