You could request to join the FUT Program for the T-Mobile version. I don't think there are any open spots currently though. You could also cross-flash with the MSM Tool from XDA to convert to the Global/NA firmware or EU firmware and then update to it.
One of my 8T's has been rock solid on the EU firmware for over a year now. The other is in the FUT Program but both are from T-Mobile.
