Is Xiaomi FINALLY coming to America and T-Mobile?

Phones don’t require activation on the T-Mobile network! You simply just put your SIM in the device and if it is SIM unlocked and supports the bands and software needed (very crucial) to connect to the T-Mobile network. Then it will work. VoLTE is pretty much mandatory for devices to make calls over the T-Mobile network. T-Mobile uses the same profile for its services that Google does, which is the Android standard. Companies like Verizon, AT&T, and many others around the world, choose to use different profiles for VoLTE and WiFi Calling services, which make those services not function on T-Mobile.
Looking at the supported 4G bands for the Redmi Note 10. You won’t have a very good experience. T-Mobile uses bands 2, 4, 12, 41, 66, and 71. Pretty much any deployment in the past more than half a decade has focused on bands 12, 66, and 71, all of which, the Redmi Note 10 does not support.
