Enabling Text messaging
I had a legacy pay-as-you-go account and upgraded it to a limited 1000talk/1000text. Previously we had the texting disabled/blocked as we would have had to pay for all those ads etc. Now we cannot find where to re-enable texting as this phone (Android) doesn’t receive and does not send texts. Where can I get guidance or contacts to resolve this issue?

You're going to need to call or go to a Tmobile store or Best Buy to help.
Have you tried rebooting your phone after you changed your plan?
