I switched to T-mobile a few months ago and have regretted it every since. Slow to no internet, dropped phone calls, no service at all at our lake house and to add to that, I had to buy a new phone ...
What carrier are you porting to? Your best bet would be to AT&T if you want to keep the phone but make sure it's unlocked before you port.
