my txt messages are blocked
tmobile twitter support informed me that my outgoing text messages have been blocked because i have been spamming, which is not true at all
i do not use the number for business purposes of texts msgs at all.. only use to send messages to my contacts and to people i know regular conversations work related or personal never any spam or promotions or texts… i receive a lot of spam but never send any
wondering how can t-mobile unilaterally decide that i am spamming without informing and just blocking my number..
and how can this be fixed i need details as to who blocked this why was it blocked if i made an error i am willing to fix it but i need to know the probelm first

Are you sure your device hasn’t been compromised? There are rogue apps that send texts without your knowledge in both the Google and Apple stores. Do you have any apps on your device that might on the sketchy side?

Its like talking to a wall.. they cant help they keep reverting to resetting network settings but not telling me why number is blocked from sending msg or how it can be unlocked

I like to say yes i am sure no rogue apps but i cant be certain.. one thing is havent downloaded any app in last four days and this happened last night

This a political season so there's a lot of spam out there so somebody may have hacked your number to send out this spam.
I report those text as spam as I'm sure a lot of people do.

Like a previous post stated contact Tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms to see if they can help you they also are a higher tier of support.

I'm blocked from sending text messages. I use my messages for work so I send a lot of messages each day. No one at T-Mobile was able to shed any light as to why it happened. I was never reached out to via text, call, or email to inform me of anything. I've been with T-Mobile for over 15yrs and have never dealt with such a headache. The representatives were very hard to understand and not helpful at all. They gave me a $20 credit as if that solved my problem. How do you restrict access to texting when my plan is unlimited. How is it that I sent too many text? Sad to say T-Mobile has lost me as a customer. I will be going to another service provided and changing my number. The battle is now getting them to let me out my contract without any fees. And they can have this phone back. As I'm very dissatisfied with the service and did absolutely nothing wrong. They have inconvenience so many ppl and need to pay up.

I am now having the same problem. They blocked me for 10 days saying my phone is having spam messages. I don't see how. I ran multiple virus scans and nothing. If anyone has any advice let me know. They said if it happens again they'll turn it off again. This is terrible
