The manager was likely misinformed. The T-Mobile C2 documentation clearly states that no line cancellations within the past 90 days are required to be eligible for the BOGO lines.

Yes, I posted similar but our situation was in store with ‘the manager’ !
… told my son his new iPhone comes with a case and screen protector, only to find out that each item cost $39.99 and the two charges would be pro rated for 24 months. Very misleading and the rude manager refused to take it off the bill or even apologize for any type of miscommunication. Total BS
