Essential 55 4g hot spot data --- how to add
The essentials 55 plan says : Optional 4G high-speed data available for hotspot. ------ How do I find this? the rep I spoke with could not understand what I was asking.
Hi @betterservice Adding the 10GB of hotspot data to the essentials plan can be done on the T-Mobile App or website. Add or remove services | T-Mobile Support walks you right through how to manage those add-ons. Not sure why the rep you spoke with wouldn’t understand adding a hotspot feature, but I am glad we have the ability to do it online.

That hotspot data is used by turning on the mobile hotspot on, on your phone. It is used for connecting a device online when you are not in Wi-Fi range to use a tablet or laptop or some type of streaming device.
