Great affordable basic phone for my elderly mom. She doesn't need most features on the smartphones but she texts, surfs the web and emails. Plays games and takes photos. Fast and easy. She loves it and what a great price!

Phone does not come with C-block charger required!

This phone comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, but does not include the USB C-block (wall charger) required to charge it. How can a device NOT come with all essential items for basic operation. I bought two for my daughters and they are useless to me/them until I get paid four days form now and buy the C-Blocks. Sure, they aren't the most expensive phones, but they should at least come with the bare minimum to operate. Most people don't have a C-block wall port lying around. Pathetic move by Samsung to save a couple of pennies.

This phone is an absolute piece of e-waste. My first Samsung Phone, I was told by the sales rep how this phone was the best budget phone... and honestly it was the only available option at the time that wasn't a Motorola or a Revvl. I was excited to finally own a Galaxy phone. Why do I complain? It crashes, restarts itself, when it work it lags, safe mode works for a while and even in that mode it crashes. Camera is worst than my 5 year old budget LG phone that I just regret trading in for this garbage. Samsung should come up with a recall or a software update and TMobile should just support their customers and allow them to replace this phone.

It's a Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, and it's GREAT!!!

I don't know if these people leaving these bad reviews are hackers or what, but I have Samsung everything, washing machine and dryer, TVs, chrome book, tablets, S series Galaxy from S4 Active to S10plus. This phone stacks up perfectly with all Samsung Galaxy phones. I think these people leaving bad reviews got some second hand garbage, or something cause my A15 5G, runs like a champ. I put a 128G SD card in it, and honestly it's one of the fastest phones I've owned. I highly recommend this phone. I know androids, in fact I have rooted devices and there is nothing wrong with this phone.

SLOW! EVERYTHING CRASHES!!

Worst phone I have ever had. I can't even go on Amazon without the phone crashing. It's really sad. To watch YouTube,Stream..that's fine. Try to play a mobile game? Not happening. Pictures are not very good. My old phone,an A51,takes better pictures even being 4yo.
Depending on what you need your phone for...choose wisely!
When I ordered,it was over the phone and the sales assistant told me it was the best phone available. Told me it was a huge upgrade from my A51. I don't believe that at all. I wish I could get a different phone,buy for now unfortunately I'm stuck with it!

Late August update Fixed this phone

I originally left a 1 star review as I was really ANGRY about this phone. I have to say after the latest update August 2024, the phone became a totally different animal. I don't run anything unnecessary on my devices, so I haven't pushed its limits but I have to say it feels like a decent phone, no more random crashes, lagging, reboots, freezing and everything else that everyone has mentioned was totally true. AFTER the update, it feels again like a reliable phone for my basic needs, it works. I would give it 5 stars if the camera was better. Unfortunately it is a hardware limitation and no updates are going to fix that. It is still a budget phone and that is OK as long as it works. I hope they don't screw things up in a future update, but as of Sep-2024 this phone is stable.

Pretty poor

I thought that I was buying a budget phone expecting mainly reduced speed. The phone is very glitchy. It will open apps when not clicked. It's almost like ghost touches. It will delete pictures in texts. Sometimes parts of the screen will not work. I removed the screen protector thinking that was the problem, but the issues persist. If I go in Airplane mode and then turn Airplane mode off, the phone will not reconnect to the network unless I reboot it. It glitches when I try to make phone calls, sometimes not even attempting the call. The phone is very slow. Maybe that's just the chip-set, but my 4 year old phone and my phones before that were all much faster. Reading the forums online, these are very common issues with this phone. I will likely pass it down to one of my kids and get something else.

Unbelievably slow.

I exchanged my S21 for the A15 because I wanted a headphone jack. This thing is terrible. The camera is slow, so most pictures are blurry. The overall picture and video quality is lower than what I'm used to. Opening apps takes a few seconds each time. That might not sound bad, but S-series phones always worked instantaneously. Had camera issues when using Google Meet. I tried looking up tips and tricks to speed it up, and nothing worked for me. I would avoid this phone if you use apps frequently and want to take good pictures.

Got this Samsung Galaxy A15 5G a week ago, but after reading the negative reviews and then I said we'll I'm going to give it a try and let me tell y'all I do not regret it, phone is not slow. Camera on point, strong signal, awesome battery life, phone fits perfect on hand, lots of great features also it works perfectly fine, I'm a happy camper and made a great choice thank you T-MOBILE Family. Also great job Samsung

Not worth the price!

Was told at the time this was the best phone in the free for renewal range. It was the "top" budget phone. It is horribly slow, the microphone can hear Animal Crossing across the room, but not my spouse 2 feet from it, and it was twice the cost of the Motorola I had before (which ran circles around this one). DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE YOU WILL REGRET IT.
