Why does my mobile hotspot disconnect every 5 minutes?
I rely on my hotspot a lot to work from home because I live in a more rural area and for the past 3 weeks my hotspot disconnects any time I try to use a feature on my phone, check a text, etc. There are also times that no other apps are open on my phone and I have a strong connection and my hotspot disconnects every 5 minutes.
Hey, was this resolved for you? I’ve been having the exact same issue since starting to work from home due to the pandemic. Some days I have no issues at all and then the next day it’s constant.
No. Multiple areas of my home.
Does it only happen in one spot/area?
I am on the Magenta plus plan and I have 30gb of hotspot data and I haven’t used even half of the data.
What plan do you have and what is your hotspot thresh hold?
