Porting Number from Verizon

i added new line with TM using my number from Verizon. I have received sim which has a different number. When i insert the sim into my existing phone, will i get my ported number? I manage the Verizon account and the number is not locked.

    You will get your number once the port is complete.  That can sometimes take up to 4 days.
