Jalen and Brian ARE THE BEST!! Here is my story...I went to the mall location of T-Mobile to see if they had any plans that were more cost effective than my current plan and spoke with the manager there ( the one in the wheelchair, he told me his name was Richard C.). He gave me a breakdown of the plans they offer and also spoke with me about switching our home internet service over as well. Because of our home location I knew we did not have many choices on internet providers so I told him I doubt we would get fast enough service to meet our needs. Richard assured me we would.. and talked me into signing up and trying it out for a few weeks. He assured me that if it did not work to just bring everything back in, no problem. We gave it a shot and it buffered too much to continue service. Today I took the router AND the booster he talked me into back to return it and cancel the service. Richard informed me that I would have to pay restock fee of $100.00 to return both the router and booster unless I called somewhere else and had them send me a box to ship it off myself. The female rep standing next to him actually said to him that she thought there was no restock fee on internet equipment and he ignored her. He then tells me I have to call myself to cancel the service. I was ok with that, and so he gave me the number to call to cancel. While I am on the phone with the representative (speaker phone) I ask for the fees to be waived as I was not informed ahead of time there would be fees. The representative tells me they do not charge restock fee for internet equipment. He then proceeds to ask me to tell the retail representative Richard that he needs to call them from his own office line so that they can get this straightened out. Richard REFUSED TO CALL HIM! So I then ask to speak to his manager. He tells me he is unavailable and that he will just tell me the same thing. I then ask to speak with his managers boss. He refused to give me that information... then tells me if I don't stop speaking to him in this manner he will ask me to leave. Mind you, I was not yelling and never spoke a single cuss word. At this point I just told him to give me the equipment back and I will speak with someone else. I had to leave with the equipment! Luckily I went straight to the T Mobile location at Freedom Drive. I walked in and explained to Brian and Jalen what conversation I had just had with Richard. These gentleman were so apologetic and polite. They confirmed with me that there is NO restock fee for internet equipment-took the equipment, assisted me with getting my services cancelled, and gave me my receipt. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with Jalen's business card if I ever need anything on the future. If you are looking to switch to T-Mobile for services, DO NOT GO TO THE MALL LOCATION. Instead, go see Brian and Jalen at the Freedom Drive location in the Walmart shopping center! View on Google
