I have been having issues with my phone dropping calls, not charging, getting hot. After many, many calls to 611, I was approved for an exchange. This was the second exchange within two months (I have a Samsung A14 5G). Upon being notified that my phone had arrived on Monday, November 24th, I went to the T-Mobile store located at 10990 North Freeway, Ste C, Houston, TX 77037. The representative transferred the information from the defective phone to the refurbished phone. The person that was assisting me asked if I minded if he helped another customer while the transfer was being done, and I agreed. In the meantime, a young lady kept checking with me, and upon completion of the transfer, she asked if everything (contacts, photos, etc.) was there, and I confirmed that it was, and she said I was good to go. After arriving home, I tried to make a called only to get a message that there was no SIM card in my phone. Therefore, I could not make calls and texts nor receive them. It was too late to go back because the store was closed, so I had no phone service all night. I went back the very next morning at opening time and was greeted by a customer service expert named William. I explained my situation and he immediately looked at the SIM card. Apparently, there was another important step that should have been taken before I left for the phone to work properly. William installed a new SIM card and called my phone to be sure I could receive calls and said that if I needed any further assistance, to not hesitate to come back and ask for him and would take care of any further issues. He also offered me a opportunity to take advantage of current promotions. I respectfully declined, thanked him, and went to my car. Upon getting in my car, I attempted to connect my phone to the Uconnect in the car. After several attempts, I went back in the store and William came to me and asked what happened. I explained what happen. He said he would help me. The told his coworker that he was stepping out for a minute. He and I went to my car, he explained what needed to be done and connected my phone to the Uconnect, and reminded me that if he could be of further assistance with my phone to come back and ask for him.
