Recycled devices

Extending the Life of Every Device.

Our customers and employees care about the waste that is generated by the products and services they buy and the companies they buy from.

In 2021 we collected 11.6 million devices for reuse, resale, and recycling—including phones, smartwatches, tablets, hotspots, and IoT items.

Since cell phones contain precious metals, recycling not only conserves these materials, but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Making new products from recycled materials uses less energy than sourcing new materials.

For every one million devices we recycle, 35,284 lbs. of copper, 772 lbs. of silver, 75 lbs. of gold and 33 lbs. of palladium can be recovered.

Millions of cell phones end up in landfills or are disposed of improperly, posing potential harm to the environment.
