Deeanne King is executive vice president and chief people officer at T-Mobile, where she leads the company’s human resources, employee experience, corporate real estate and security teams. In this role, she’s focused on creating opportunities for employees across the country to learn, grow and thrive. Deeanne played a pivotal role in the historic Sprint-T-Mobile merger in 2020, uniting two distinct cultures into one cohesive Team Magenta. She also led the redesign of T-Mobile’s Bellevue, Washington, headquarters, which was recognized by Business Insider as one of the “Coolest Offices in North America.” During her tenure, T-Mobile has been consistently recognized as an employer of choice, earning honors from Glassdoor, Forbes and Fortune as a “Best Place to Work” and from Newsweek as one of the “Most Admired Workplaces.” These accolades reflect her commitment to making T-Mobile not just a great place to work, but a place where people belong, feel inspired and can do their best work as part of something bigger.

Before joining T-Mobile, Deeanne spent more than 30 years at Sprint in multiple leadership roles, including chief human resources officer, chief diversity officer and vice president of customer experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in computer information systems from Baylor University.
