On this page:
Add a line with a new device
- Log-in T-Mobile.com or the T-Mobile app.
- In the T-Mobile app select SHOP, and then Add a line.
- On T-Mobile.com select Add a person or device to my account in the “I want to…" section.
- Select your device.
- Select your color, memory variant, and pricing option, and select Add to a new line.
- Make or review plan selections and select Add a new line.
- Select Yes, I want to trade in a device if you would like to trade in a device. Otherwise, select No thanks, skip trade-in.
- Enter the trade-in device information, to find it dial *#06# to get your phone's IMEI, or find it in your device's settings, then select Continue.
- Provide information on the condition of your trade-in, then select Continue.
- Select Trade in this phone.
- Select Continue or select No, I’ll take my chances to opt out of insurance.
- Confirm your order details and pricing, then select Continue to shipping.
- Select your shipping method and review the address section. Edit the address if necessary, then select Continue to payment.
- Enter your payment details and check the Customer Agreement box to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, then select Accept & Continue.
- Sign your EIP Equipment Installment Plan agreement if you are financing your device with T-Mobile.
- Select Submit order.
Add a line with your own device
- Log-in T-Mobile.com or the T-Mobile app.
- In the T-Mobile App select SHOP and then Add a line.
- On T-Mobile.com select Add a person or device to my account in the “I want to…" section.
- Select your device type.
- Select the option to bring your own device.
- Review plan selections and select Add a new line.
- Confirm your order details and pricing, then select Continue to shipping.
- Select your shipping method and review the address section. Edit the address if necessary, then select Continue to payment.
- Enter your payment details and check the Customer Agreement box to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, then select Accept & Continue.
- Select Submit order.
Add a line with the T Life App
Add a line with BYOD SIM
- Download and log in to T Life app.
- Select Manage Tab and then select Add a new person or device to your account.
- Select This is the device I’m activating.
- Enter the device IMEI to check compatibility.
- Select Continue to activate via eSIM.
- Confirm your current rate plan pricing and select Checkout.
- Enter your Primary place of use address. Select the E911 toggle if the device will be used at the entered address.
- Select Add payment method and select one of the following:
- Apple Pay
- Credit or debit card
- Enter your payment details, Select Continue.
- Enter your billing address, Select Continue.
- Verify your address, Select Confirm.
- Agree to the the Customer Agreements box to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, then Select Order now.
- Complete the activation steps in the Order confirmation screen to activate your eSIM.
Add a line with BYOD eSIM
- Download and log in to T Life app.
- Select Manage Tab and then select Add a new person or device to your account.
- Select This is the device I’m activating.
- Enter the device IMEI to check compatibility. Note: If your device is not eSIM compatible, you will need a physical SIM. Select Continue with SIM Card to have a SIM card shipped to you. Select Check another device if you would like to activate a different device.
- Confirm your current rate plan pricing and select Checkout.
- Enter your Primary place of use address. Select the E911 toggle if the device will be used at the entered address.
- Select Add payment method and select one of the following:
- Apple Pay
- Credit or debit card
- Agree to the the Customer Agreements box to confirm consent of the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, then Select Order now.
