The lineup includes iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo - Apple's first foldable iPhone. This article covers those three models.

Which phones are in the iPhone 18 Pro Series?

The main difference is size. iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3" display and starts at $1,199.99, while iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 6.9" display, a bigger battery (up to 45 hours of video versus 36 hours), and starts at $1,299.99. Both share the same A20 Pro chip and camera system.

Does iPhone Duo have two screens?

iPhone Duo has the largest screen in the lineup when unfolded, at 7.6" - about 50% larger than iPhone 18 Pro Max. Among traditional, non-folding iPhones, iPhone 18 Pro Max has the largest display at 6.9".

Which iPhone 18 model has the biggest screen?

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come in Black, Silver, Glacier, and an all-new Burgundy. iPhone Duo comes in Star White and Night Sky.

How much will the iPhone 18 Pro cost?

iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299.99 in the U.S., or $54.12 per month for 24 months through Apple Card Monthly Installments.

iPhone Duo starts at $1,999.99 in the U.S., or as low as $57.99 per month for 24 months through Apple Upgrade leasing.

How much will iPhone Duo cost?

"Better" depends on what you want from your phone. iPhone Duo offers significantly more screen room when opened plus multitasking features like Split View, while iPhone 18 Pro Max offers a larger traditional iPhone experience with a higher-zoom camera system and a lower starting price. Compare display size, price, durability, cameras, and everyday comfort before deciding.

Is iPhone Duo better than the iPhone 18 Pro Max?

Preorders for both watches are open now, ahead of in-store availability on September 18, 2026. Preordering can help you get your preferred size, color, or band before it sells out. Waiting gives you more time to read hands-on reviews and confirm which features matter to your routine.

Review monthly payments, taxes, fees, bill credits, and service requirements before buying.

Can I finance an Apple Watch through a carrier?

Do I need a cellular plan for Apple Watch?

How to Reduce Screen Time: Practical Strategies &amp; Benefits

https://www.t-mobile.com/dialed-in/_admin/uploads/2026/06/woman-having-breakfast-at-dining-table-off-tablet.jpg

Start by turning off non-essential notifications, setting app limits for your top two apps, and keeping your phone out of the bedroom. These changes are simple but can reduce how often your phone pulls you back in.

How can I quickly reduce my daily screen time without drastic changes?

The biggest benefits may include better sleep routines, stronger focus, less eye strain, more movement, and more time for in-person connection. Results vary, but many people notice early improvements when they reduce late-night scrolling.

What are the biggest benefits of reducing screen time?

On iPhone, open Settings and look for Screen Time. On many Android phones, open Settings and look for Digital Wellbeing. These dashboards typically show total use, app use, unlocks, and notifications.

How do I check my screen time on my phone?

No. Screen time can help you work, learn, connect, navigate, create, and manage daily tasks. The goal is to reduce screen time that feels automatic, stressful, or disruptive.

Is all screen time bad?

There is no universal limit that fits every adult. A healthy limit depends on your work, health, responsibilities, and goals. Focus on whether screen use is affecting sleep, focus, mood, movement, or relationships.

What is a healthy screen time limit for adults?

App blockers can help because they add friction between an urge and an action. They work best when paired with a replacement habit, such as walking, reading, or stretching.

Do app blockers really work?

It may help, especially if evening screen use delays bedtime or exposes you to bright light at night. Reducing stimulating content before bed can also make it easier to wind down.

Can reducing screen time improve sleep?

Track your baseline, set small goals, pair new habits with existing routines, and expect occasional setbacks. Progress matters more than a perfect streak.

A call may be a scam if it is unexpected, urgent, or asks for money, passwords, account numbers, or one-time codes. Caller ID is not enough to prove a caller is real.

How do I know if a phone call is a scam?

Hang up. Do not press buttons, answer questions, or share information. Then block the number and report the call if appropriate.

What should I do if a scammer calls me?

Yes. Scammers can spoof caller ID so the call appears to come from a familiar, local, or official-looking number. Verify important requests through a separate trusted channel.

Can scammers fake caller ID?

Vishing is voice phishing. It happens when scammers use phone calls to trick people into sharing information, sending money, or taking unsafe actions.

What is vishing?

Smishing is phishing through text messages or messaging apps. These messages may pretend to be from a bank, delivery service, toll agency, employer, or government office.

What is smishing?

It is usually safer to let unknown numbers go to voicemail. If the call is real, the caller can leave a message.

Should I answer calls from unknown numbers?

Close the page and avoid entering more information. If you shared a password or payment details, change the password or contact your financial provider right away.

What should I do if I clicked a scam text link?

Contact the company tied to the account immediately. Change your password, review account activity, and ask about recovery or lockout steps.

What should I do if I gave a scammer my security code?

Talk through common scam scripts before a call happens. Help them set up spam filtering, strong passwords, account alerts, and a family safe word.

How can I help older family members avoid phone scams?

You can report fraud to the <a href="https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FTC</a>, unwanted calls or texts to the <a href="https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FCC</a>, and cybercrime-related complaints to <a href="https://www.ic3.gov/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">IC3</a> when appropriate.

Where can I report phone scams?

The best way to avoid phone scams is to pause, verify, and protect your information. Let unknown calls go to voicemail, avoid suspicious links, and never share one-time codes.

How Long Does a Smartphone Last? A 2026 Guide to Phone Lifespan | T-Mobile

How Long Does a Smartphone Last? A 2026 Guide to Phone Lifespan

https://www.t-mobile.com/dialed-in/_admin/uploads/2026/09/woman-smiling-at-screen-on-smartphone.jpg

A modern smartphone can stay useful for about four to seven years, depending on the model and how it is used. That estimate lines up with recent trade-in ages near four years and with seven-year support commitments on select newer phones.

How long should a modern smartphone last?

A useful benchmark is about four years of ownership before many people upgrade or trade in their phones. Recent data puts the average traded-in device age at 3.81 years.

What is the average lifespan of a smartphone in 2026?

Yes, especially if it is a newer flagship with long software support. Google says Pixel 8 and later phones get seven years of updates, and Samsung says the Galaxy S24 series gets seven years of security updates and seven generations of OS upgrades.

Can a phone last seven years?

A bad battery usually shows up as fast drain, early shutdowns, or the need to charge multiple times a day. If the phone is otherwise smooth and updated, battery service may be enough.

How do I know whether my battery is the real problem?

It is less safe, especially for banking, shopping, email, and other sensitive tasks. If your phone no longer gets updates, it is a good idea to plan a replacement.

Is it safe to use a phone without security updates?

Yes. A phone with very little free storage may slow down, struggle with updates, and feel less responsive. Cleaning up storage can sometimes make an older phone usable again.

Does storage affect how long a phone lasts?

Not always. If the crack is minor and the phone is otherwise healthy, a screen repair may be the better move. If the crack comes with battery, charging, or software issues, replacement may make more sense.

Should I replace my phone if the screen is cracked?

Avoid heat, keep storage under control, use optimized charging when available, install updates, and use protective accessories. Those habits do not stop aging, but they can slow down the most common problems.

What helps a phone last longer?

Lost phone? Use these lost phone tips to lock, locate, and protect your device fast. Learn what to do first, how to secure accounts, and how to prepare for next time.

How Do I Find My Phone? What to Do If Your Phone Is Lost or Stolen | T-Mobile

Try to call it, then use your device’s location tool right away. If you still cannot find it, lock it remotely and contact your wireless provider.

What should I do first if my phone is lost?

Lock the device, report it to your provider, and secure your key accounts. If the phone appears to be stolen, file a police report too.

What should I do first if my phone is stolen?

You may see a last known location, but live tracking usually needs power and a connection. Some tools can still update later if the phone comes back online.

Can I track my lost phone if it is turned off?

Erase it if you think you will not get it back or you are worried about sensitive data. Just remember that data not backed up may not be recoverable.

Should I erase my lost phone right away?

Start with email, banking, payment apps, cloud storage, and social accounts. Email matters most because it can reset passwords for many other services.

What accounts should I secure after losing my phone?

Yes. Your provider may be able to suspend service, block the device, or help you move your number to a replacement phone.

Should I call my wireless provider if my phone is missing?

An IMEI is a unique device ID. Providers and law enforcement may ask for it when reporting, blocking, or tracing a missing phone.

What is an IMEI number, and why does it matter?

A strong passcode makes access harder, but you should still lock the phone remotely and protect your accounts. A short or easy code is much weaker than a longer one.

Can someone use my phone if it has a passcode?

Only if you are sure it is safe. If the location looks unfamiliar or the phone may be stolen, contact authorities instead of going there yourself.

Is it safe to follow the location shown by Find My or Find Hub?

Turn on device-finding tools, use a strong passcode, back up your data, and save your IMEI number. That small setup work can save a lot of stress later.

How can I make my next phone easier to recover?

How to Reduce Screen Time for Kids Without Turning It Into a Daily Battle

https://www.t-mobile.com/dialed-in/_admin/uploads/2026/09/Father-and-son-playing-game-in-living-room-1.jpg

There is no single number that works for every child, age, or family. A better signal is whether screen time is getting in the way of sleep, schoolwork, movement, family time, friendships, or emotional well-being. If screens regularly replace those needs, it may be time to adjust the routine.

How much screen time is too much for kids?

The best first step is to set predictable screen-free times and places. Start with meals, bedtime, homework, and mornings. Then add offline activities so kids know what they can do instead.

What is the best way to reduce screen time for kids?

Set the rule before screen time starts, give a warning before it ends, and keep the response calm when your child pushes back. Avoid changing the rule during an argument. Consistency usually reduces daily negotiation over time.

How do I reduce screen time without causing arguments?

Many families choose to keep phones and tablets outside bedrooms overnight. This can help reduce late-night notifications, scrolling, and gaming. A shared charging station in a hallway, kitchen, or parent’s room can make the rule easier to manage.

Should kids have phones in their bedrooms at night?

Parental controls can help, but they work best with clear family rules and ongoing conversations. App limits and downtime settings can support the routine. Kids still need to learn why sleep, school, movement, and offline time matter.
