Access hotspot WebUI Manager
The hotspot WebUI Manager is a virtual dashboard to manage your mobile hotspot’s settings, features, and security controls.
- After connecting the hotspot to your Wi-Fi enabled device, open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
- Enter the WebUI password and select Login. The password is Admin + last 4 digits of the IMEI. The IMEI is printed on the device label underneath the battery.
- On your first login, you will be asked to create a new password. Create your new password and log in again.
Change hotspot admin password
- Select Settings > Device Settings.
- Enter the current password, new password, and re-confirm the new password.
- Select Save.
Change hotspot Network Name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password
- Select Settings > Wi-Fi Basic Settings.
- Select radio button 2.4 or 5 GHz.
- Change the name and password in the field and select Save.
- This will disconnect your current connection and you will need to reconnect to the hotspot and log back into the WebUI manager.
Information
The Information page allows you to quickly access all menu options for your T-Mobile Hotspot.
Device information
The Device information page displays some basic information about your hotspot.
- Phone Number: Shows the phone number of the SIM card.
- IMEI: Device IMEI number.
- Signal Strength: Displays the signal strength.
- 2.4GHz Network Name (SSID): Displays 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Channel name.
- 5GHz Network Name (SSID): Displays 5 GHz Wi-Fi Channel name.
- Maximum Connections: the maximum number of connected devices allowable is 10.
- LAN Domain: Shows LAN domain name.
- MAC Address: Shows MAC address of the device.
- IP Address: Shows IP address of the device.
- WAN IP Address: Shows WAN IP address of the device.
- Software Version: Shows Software Version of the device.
- Model name: Shows product model name.
Plan details
Review your data plan details and set up a monthly billing plan.
- Set the billing day: choose from 1 through 31.
- Set the billing month: choose from 1 through 12.
Statistics
Track upload and download speeds, information on the current connection, or data usage from the year.
- Upload speed: Shows current upload speed.
- Download speed: Shows current download speed.
- Current Connection: Shows the information of the current connection.
- Current Year: Shows the data usage of a year.
Battery, Memory, & Storage
- Remove the back cover.
- Install or remove the battery.
- Replace the back cover.
Insert/remove SIM
This device supports a Nano size SIM card.
- Remove the back cover and battery.
- Insert/Remove the SIM card from the SIM slot.
- Replace the battery and back cover.
Turn on / off SIM PIN
The SIM PIN code can protect your SIM from being used in other devices. When you turn on the SIM PIN lock, the device prompts you to enter the code after turning it on.
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > Pin Code Management.
- Select the toggle switch next to Pin Code Management to switch on or off.
Connections & Network
Hotspot network name (SSID) & password
- The hotspot network name (SSID) is the name of the Wi-Fi network you'll need to connect to.
- The default hotspot network name (SSID) and password can be found inside the back panel of your mobile hotspot by removing the back cover and battery.
- You can change the SSID and password using the WebUI Manager
Turn on / off
Turn on
- Hold the Power button for 3 seconds until all LED indicators illuminate.
- Wait for the Network and Wi-Fi Indicators to come on, one at a time.
- When the Network and Wi-Fi icons light up, the Wi-Fi connection is enabled.
Turn off
- Hold the Power button for 3 seconds until all LED indicators turn off.
- The Network and Wi-Fi connections have been disabled.
Connect to the hotspot
To connect your Wi-Fi enabled device to your hotspot for internet access, follow these steps.
- Make sure your hotspot is turned on.
- Select the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID).
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password.
- Refer to the Hotspot WebUI Manager or the Quick Start Guide if you need to change your hotspot Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) or Wi-Fi Password.
USB tethering
To connect your Wi-Fi enabled device to the mobile hotspot using a USB-C cable instead of using the Wi-Fi network follow these steps.
- Make sure your mobile hotspot is on and has an active data connection.
- Connect one end of the USB C cable to the hotspot and the other end to your device.
- Your device will detect a network connection via USB automatically.
- Check your connection by visiting a website.
Turn on / off cellular data
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > Network Settings.
- Select the toggle switch next to Cellular Data to switch on or off.
Turn on / off data roaming
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > Network Settings.
- Select the toggle switch next to Data Roaming to switch on or off.
Create a new APN (Access Point Name)
Your mobile hotspot comes pre-configured with the access point name (APN) for your network service provider. The mobile hotspot checks the APN to determine the type of network connection to establish.
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > Network Settings.
- Select Add under the APN list. A pop-up box will appear to create new APN.
- Enter the Profile Name of APN.
- Enter the APN.
- Enter the Username and Password.
- Select Authentication Mode: PAP or CHAP.
- Select IPType: IPv4 or IPv4v6.
Connecting from WebUI Manager
To connect your Wi-Fi device securely using the hotspot WebUI Manager follow these steps.
Push button
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > WPS.
- Activate the WPS connection on the device you want to connect to the hotspot.
- Select Push WPS Button.
- Wait a moment for a successful Wi-Fi connection.
Device PIN
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > WPS.
- Activate the WPS connection on the Wi-Fi device you want to connect to the hotspot.
- Enter the device’s 8-digit PIN code in the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Wait a moment for a successful Wi-Fi connection.
Connecting with WPS button
To connect your Wi-Fi device securely using the WPS button on your hotspot follow these steps.
- Keep the T-Mobile Hotspot in range of the device you want to connect with.
- Turn on your mobile hotspot by pressing and holding the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Open your Wi-Fi network manager on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other Wi-Fi enabled device.
- Connect your Wi-Fi enabled device to your hotspot by selecting your mobile hotspot’s network name (SSID).
- Press and hold for 5 seconds the WPS button located on the bottom of the mobile hotspot.
- Your Wi-Fi enabled device will start connecting.
Email & Messaging
View a text message
This device can only receive messages and not send them. To view a text message, follow these steps.
- The message LED indicator will flash on the hotspot when a new message is received and will show a solid light when the inbox is full.
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select the SMS tab. A list of messages will be displayed.
- Choose the message to open it.
Delete a text message
A maximum of 50 new messages can be stored. Older messages will be deleted automatically. To delete a text message, follow these steps.
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select the SMS tab. A list of messages will be displayed.
- Select the checkbox next to the message you want to delete.
- Select Delete.
Settings & Tech Specs
First time use
Review the steps below if you need help with the setup process.
- Remove the back cover and battery to find the Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and password inside the back panel of your mobile hotspot.
- Verify the SIM card is inserted and replace the battery and back cover.
- Hold the Power button for 3 seconds until all LED indicators illuminate.
- Connect your Wi-Fi device to your Mobile Hotspot.
- On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select network name (SSID).
- From a Windows PC:
- Left-click Wireless Network Connection on the taskbar to view available networks.
- Choose the SSID from the list of available networks.
- From a Mac computer:
- Select System Preferences > Network > Airport.
- Select Advanced to choose SSID from the list of available networks.
- Choose the SSID from the list of available networks and enter your hotspot password.
- From an iOS device:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Choose the SSID from the list of available networks and enter your hotspot password.
- From an Android device:
- Go to Settings > Wi‑Fi settings.
- Choose the SSID from the list of available networks and enter your hotspot password.
- From a Windows PC:

Software Updates & Backup
Master reset from the admin page
A master reset restores the original factory settings. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card.
- Access the hotspot WebUI Manager.
- Select Settings > Device Settings.
- Select Device > Backup and Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Select Reset under Factory Reset.
- Select Confirm.
- Wait a moment as the device is restored to the default settings.
- You will need to re-connect to the device with the default Wi-Fi login credentials.
Master reset with hardware keys
A master reset restores the original factory settings. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card. If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys.
- Turn the device on.
- Insert a paperclip into the Factory Reset Pinhole.
- Press the Factory Reset Pinhole for 6 seconds and release. The device will reset and restart.
The device automatically updates to the latest software version when it's available. There is no option to manually check for a software update.
