Log in and navigate the Roambee Portal

Login

To log in for the first time, make sure you've received an email from support@roambee.com with your password. If you haven't received it, contact your system administrator.

  1. In a web browser, visit https://portal.roambee.com/#login.
  2. Enter your user name (email address) and password.
  3. Select Log in.
  4. If you belong to multiple accounts, choose the account you want to log into.

Navigation

The portal is divided into three areas:

  1. The Main Bar has the user name, role, Support button, and Modern View button.
  2. The Module Menu allows you to choose from a variety of pages in the portal, like Manage Users, Shipments, Locations, and Bees.
  3. The Screen Area changes depending on what you select in the Module Menu.

Add, modify, or delete users

 

Add a User

 
  1. Choose the Manage Users module.
  2. Select the + by to Add user.
  3. Fill out the Add new user pop-up. You must fill out fields with an asterisk (*).
  4. Select Save. An email is sent to the new users.
 

Modify a User

 
  1. Choose the Manage Users module.
  2. Select the Actions by to the user you want to modify.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update any information in the Edit user pop-up.
  5. Select Save.
 

Delete a User

 
  1. Choose the Manage Users module.
  2. Select Actions by to the user you want to modify.
  3. Select Delete.

 

Create and edit locations

 

Create a location

 
  1. Choose the Locations module.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Fill out the Location Wizard pop-up. You must fill out fields with an asterisk (*).
  4. Select Add Location.
 

Edit a location

 
  1. Choose the Locations module.
  2. Select Edit by to the location you want to edit.
  3. Update any information in the Location Wizard pop-up.
  4. Select Modify Location.

 

Create, edit, and use accounts

 

Create a sub-account

 
  1. Choose the Accounts module.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Fill out the Create a new Account pop-up.
    • You must fill out fields with an asterisk (*).
    • You must fill out all four tabs. Select Continue once you've completed a tab.
  4. Select Save.
 

Edit a sub-account

 
  1. Choose the Accounts module.
  2. Select Edit by the sub-account you want to edit.
  3. Update any information as needed, then select Save.
 

Log in to a sub-account

 
  1. Choose the Accounts module.
  2. Select Login as by the sub-account you want to log in on.
  3. You can also switch between accounts by choosing Select Account to log in as.

 

Create and fulfill orders

 

Create an order

 
  1. Choose the Orders module.
  2. Select New.
  3. Choose the account you're creating the order for, then select OK.
  4. Fill out the order information, including the shipment destination, SKU, and quantity, then select Place Order.
 

Fulfill an order

 
  1. Choose the Orders module.
  2. Select the Actions menu by the order you want to fulfill, then select Fulfill.
  3. Make sure the order summary is correct, then select Continue.
  4. Assign the devices that will be used on the sub-account, then select Continue.
  5. Enter the shipping information, then select Fulfill. Make sure the device was assigned to the correct sub-account.

 

Manage your bees

Check our narrowband coverage map to check where Roambee BeeAware will work. International and domestic roaming are not supported.

 

Roambee BeeAware buttons & LEDs

 

The Roambee device. On the left side is a hanging hole. In the left-middle of the front of the device is a multi-function button. On the bottom is a USB charging port. On the right side is a power button. In the top-right side of the middle of the device are Network, Battery, and GPS LED indicators.

  1. The Network LED blinks green fast when searching for coverage, blinks green slowly when connected, and is off when in sleep mode or off.
  2. The Battery LED is solid red when charged, blinks red fast when charging or powering on/off, blinks red slowly when the battery is low, and is off when device is on and working fine.
  3. The GPS LED is Solid yellow when it has a GPS fix, blinking yellow when searching for GPS, and is off when in sleep mode or off.
  4. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on or off.
  5. Use the USB charging port to plug in your charging cable.
  6. Press and hold the Multi-function button to report the current location and restart GPS fix.
  7. The Hanging hole is used to hang the device when affixing is not an option.
 

Bee Pickup

 
  1. Choose the Bee Pickup Page module.
  2. Enter the device name and all related information regarding the pickup purpose. You must fill out fields with an asterisk (*).
  3. Select Save. You'll receive a confirmation the device was checked-in, select Ok.
  4. You can confirm the device was checked in by choosing the Bees module.
 

Change reporting interval

 
  1. Choose the Bees module.
  2. Select Actions by to the desired device, then select interval.
  3. Set the desired reporting interval between 5 minutes and 24 hours, then select Send Change.
 

View device history

 
  1. Choose the Bees module.
  2. Select Actions by the desired device, then select history.
  3. Adjust the desired date range and select Go!.
  4. You'll be taken to a screen that displays a map and the sensor history.
 

View device messages

 
  1. Choose the Bees module.
  2. Select Actions by the desired device, then select messages.
  3. Choose the time zone and adjust the desired date range, then select Go!.
  4. View the device messages. Choose the + to get more details for a specific message.
 

Manage and download data

 
  1. Choose the Bees module.
  2. Use the following options to filter devices as needed:
    • Search lets you search for specific devices
    • Show/hide columns lets you restrict what information appears on the screen
    • Reset tables resets the device list back to default view
  3. Choose how you want to download your data:
    • Download lets you download a file with the data
    • Copy places the information to your clipboard so you can paste it
    • Excel exports the information to Excel
    • PDF converts the data into a PDF file
