Use these steps to support network settings on the Nokia Lumia 435.

 

 

 

APN & data settings

 

Internet APN

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > cellular+SIM > SIM settings.
  3. If necessary, tap the Manual Internet APN slider to turn it on.
  4. Tap add internet APN.
  5. Enter fast.t-mobile.com in the APN field.
  6. Leave all other fields unchanged and tap Save.

 

 

MMS APN

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > cellular+SIM > SIM settings.
  3. Tap add MMS APN.
  4. Enter fast.t-mobile.com in the APN field.
  5. Enter http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc in the MMSC (URL) field.
  6. Leave all other fields unchanged, then tap Save (disk icon).

 

 

Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

 

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > cellular+SIM > SIM settings > Network selection > search for networks.
  3. Tap to select the desired network.

 

 

Turn on / off airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows app and menu use, but prevents voice or Internet use.

 

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > airplane mode.
  3. Tap the Status switch to turn it on or off.

 

 

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > cellular+SIM > Data roaming options.
  3. Tap roam or don't roam.

 

 

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
  2. Scroll down to and tap Settings > mobile+SIM.
  3. Tap Data connection to turn it on or off.
