Get help with Verified Business Call (VBC).

What is Verified Business Call (VBC)?

  • Verified Business Call (VBC) lets you know what company is calling and why.
  • The company name, their brand logo, and/or the reason for the call may be available.
  • This only occurs at the time of the incoming call and may not be available on any missed call logs.
  • Not all companies take advantage of this service.

VBC settings in the Android dialer

  1. In the Phone or Dialer app, choose Settings.
  2. Choose Verified Business Call. It may be listed under Enriched Calling.
  3. Select the switch to turn VBC on or off.

Some older versions of the Visual Voicemail app may have VBC settings listed, but it's removed from the latest version.

VBC settings in iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select Phone Call Blocking & Information.
  3. Choose Business Call Identification.
  4. Select the Primary (Carrier Call Identification) switch to turn it on or off.
