All devices sold by T-Mobile (and many that aren't) support automatic configuration of your network and data settings. To reset your settings to default, choose your device manufacturer. These steps will __reset all network settings__ and remove any saved Wi-Fi Networks or Bluetooth pairings, as well as reset any app-specific data restrictions.
### Alcatel
1. From any home screen, swipe up.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset options__. If you don't have Reset options, choose __Advanced__ first.
3. Select __Reset Wi-Fi, Cellular & Bluetooth__ > __Reset settings__.
4. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
5. Choose __Reset settings__.
### Apple
1. From the Home screen, select __Settings__ > __General__ > __Transfer or Reset iPhone__ or __iPad__ > __Reset__.
2. Choose __Reset Network Settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Confirm selection.
### CAT
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Advanced__ > __Reset options__ > __Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth__ > __Reset settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset settings__.
### Coolpad
1. From the Home screen, select __App__ > __Settings__ > __General settings__ > __Mobile network__ > __Advanced__.
2. Select __Access Point Names__ to check the existing APNs.
3. Press the left soft key, then select __Reset to default__.
### Google
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Select __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset options__ > __Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi__.
3. Select __Reset__ again to confirm.
### LG
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Restart & reset__ > __Network settings reset__ > __Reset Settings__ > __Reset Settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset settings__. A 'Network settings have been reset' message briefly flashes to indicate the reset is complete.
### Motorola
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset options__ > __Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth__ > __Reset settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset settings__.
### Nokia
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Advanced__ > __Reset options__ > __Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth__ > __Reset Settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset Settings__. Once complete, a confirmation window will appear.
### OnePlus
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System settings__ or __Additional settings__.
3. Select __Back up and reset__ > __Reset phone__ > __Reset network settings__.
4. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
5. Choose __Reset settings__ again to confirm.
### REVVL
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset options__ > __Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth__ > __Reset Settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset Settings__ again to confirm.
### Samsung
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __General Management__ > __Reset__.
3. Select __Reset network settings__ or __Reset mobile network settings__, then choose __Reset settings__.
4. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
5. Choose __Reset__. Once complete, a confirmation window will appear.
### SCHOK
1. From the Home screen, select __Menu__ (OK key) > __Tools & Settings__ > __Settings__ > __Wireless & networks__ > __Cellular networks__.
2. Select __Access Point Names__ > __Options__ (right Soft key).
3. Select __Reset to default__ > __Yes__ (right Soft key).
### TCL
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset__ __Network settings reset__ > __Reset settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.
4. Choose __Reset settings__.
### Wiko Voix
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to display your apps.
2. Choose __Settings__ > __System__ > __Reset__ __options__ > __Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, & Bluetooth__ > __Reset settings__ > __Reset settings__.
3. If prompted, enter your PIN or Password.

This section will walk you through setting up internet and pictures messaging (MMS) on a non-T-Mobile phone if automatic configuration is not supported, but there are a few things to keep in mind before you get started:

### Android guide
1. Open the __Access Point Names__ or __APNs__ menu.
1. In __Settings__, check under __Wireless & Networks__ or choose the __Connections__ tab.
2. Select __Mobile network__. You may need to choose __More settings__, __More...__, or __More networks__ first.
3. Select __Access Point Names__.
2. Choose the T-Mobile APN if one is available. If not, select __Menu__ and select new APN.
3. Verify and update the following settings for the Data APN.
- Name: T-Mobile
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) or epc.tmobile.com (for non-LTE devices)
- Proxy: <Not set>
- Port: <Not set>
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
- Server: <Not set>
- MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS proxy: <Not set>
- MMS port: <Not set>
- MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
- MCC: 310
- MNC: 260
- Authentication Type: <Not set>
- APN Type: default,supl,mms *OR* Internet+MMS
- Default Android provides a text field to enter default,supl,mms.
- Samsung provides an Internet+MMS radio button to select.
- APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6 or IPv4 only when roaming internationally
- Turn APN on/off: Grayed out unless there are multiple APNs
- Bearer: Unspecified
4. Select __Menu__ > __Save__.
5. Delete any other APNs that appear in the list. The FOTA APN can remain if available.
Select the APN that needs to be removed, then select __Menu__ > __Delete APN__.
6. Verify there is a circle next to the remaining APN.
7. Perform a soft reset. Hold down the power button until the device turns off and restarts.
8. Test the data connection and/or MMS by accessing the Web or sending a picture message.
9. Complete additional troubleshooting if the APN settings are correct, but customers still experience issues.
### Apple guide
Have an old iPhone that doesn't support automatic configuration? Follow these steps based on your iOS version.
### iOS 7 & 8
1. Select __Settings__ > __Cellular__ > __Cellular Data Network__. If this setting does not appear on the device, it is not unlocked. You must speak with your previous carrier.
2. Enter the following information under the __Cellular Data__ section:
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
3. Enter the following under the __LTE Setup (Optional)__ section:
- APN: <Not set>
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
4. Enter the following under the __MMS__ section:
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com (for iOS 7) or tmus (for iOS 8)
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
- MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS Proxy: <Not set>
- MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
- MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
5. Enter the following under the __Personal Hotspot__ section:
- APN: pcweb.tmobile.com
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
6. Press the __Home__ key to save the APN and exit to the main screen.
7. Turn the device off and back on.
### iOS 6
1. Choose __Settings__ > __General__ > __Cellular__.
2. Verify the following settings:
- DataRoaming: On
- Wi-Fi: Off
- 3GEnable: On
3. Choose __Cellular Data Network__. If this setting does not appear on the device, it is not unlocked. You must speak with your previous carrier.
4. Configure as follows:
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
5. Enter the following under the __MMS__ section:
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
- MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS Proxy: <Not set>
- MMS Max Message Size: 1048576

6. Enter the following under the __Internet Tethering__ section:
- APN: pcweb.tmobile.com

7. Press the __Home__ key to save the APN and exit to the main screen.
