Use these steps to support network settings on the Alcatel LINKZONE.

 

APN & data settings

  1. Access the Mobile Hotspot Admin Page.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Network Settings.
  4. Under the APN heading, confirm the information entered is correct.
  5. Click Add New.
  6. Enter the following information:
    • Profile Name: T-Mobile
    • APN: fast.t-mobile.com
  7. Click Apply.

Switch to 2G or LTE off

  1. Access the Mobile Internet Admin Page and click Disconnect.
  2. Click the Settings tab, then click Network Settings. Ensure the Automatic radio button is selected.
  3. Click the Automatic drop-down, chose desired network, and click Apply.

Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

  1. Access the Mobile Internet Admin Page and click Disconnect.
  2. Click the Settings tab, then click Network Settings.
  3. Click the Manual radio button, then click Search.
  4. Click the radio button for the desired network, then click Register.

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. Access the Mobile Internet Admin Page and click Disconnect.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Network Settings.
  4. Select or clear the Check here, to connect to the internet in roaming status checkbox.
  5. Click Apply.
