Insert or remove SIM

  1. Take a simple paper clip and make it straight.
  2. Use the images below to locate the SIM tray.
  3. Insert the pin into the small hole and push it slightly until the tray pops-out
  4. Insert or remove the SIM card from the tray. If inserting, make sure the notched corner aligns. The SIM card only fits in one way.
  5. Reinsert the SIM tray into the iPhone.

iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max

iPhone 8 and earlier


View SIM number

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > About.
  2. Scroll down to view the ICCID.

Using an eSIM

  • The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR feature Dual SIM with a nano SIM and an eSIM.
  • Apple iPad Air 2 / mini 3 and newer come with an Apple SIM. Depending on the model, it may be an eSIM.
    • You can activate a data plan on your device by going to Settings > Cellular Data > Set Up Cellular Data
    • You can also Contact Us to get your device set up with a data plan
