Emergency alerts

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Notifications.
  2. Scroll down to the Government Alerts section at the bottom.
  3. Tap the slider to enable or disable the following:
    • AMBER Alerts
    • Emergency Alerts

Incoming email

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics > New Mail.
  2. Change the Vibration and Alert Tones. To turn off alert, set the Alert Tone to None.


Ringtone for all calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone.
  2. Scroll to and tap the desired ringtone.

Ringtone for calls from one contact

You cannot assign a ringtone to contacts stored on the SIM card or phone (device memory).

  1. From the home screen, tap Phone > Contacts.
  2. Tap the contact you want to set up with a custom ringtone.
  3. Tap Edit > Ringtone.
  4. Choose the ringtone you want.
  5. Tap Done.


  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
  2. Tap on the desired notification.
  3. Scroll to and tap the desired alert sound.
