Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the ZTE ZMAX.

 

 

Block calls

To block any incoming call that is not added to the reject list, touch the incoming call Phone icon and drag it to the left. To block the call but provide a message, drag up.

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the name of the contact you want to block.
  4. Tap the Menu icon.
  5. Tap to select All calls to Voicemail.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the name of the contact you want to unblock.
  4. Tap the Menu icon.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap Always forward.
  6. Enter the phone number to forward your calls to. Note: The number for voicemail forwarding is +18056377249.
  7. Tap Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

  • From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Call Settings.
  • Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.
  • Tap one of the following options:
  • Forward when busy
  • Forward when unanswered
  • Forward when unreachable
  • Enter the phone number to which you want to forward your calls.
  • Tap Update.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call Settings.
  4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap one of the following options to disable:
    • Always forward
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  6. Tap Disable.

 

Caller ID settings

Note:This device does not support the T-Mobile Scam Shield (formerly Name ID) service.

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call settings
  4. Tap Additional settings.
  5. Tap Caller ID.
  6. Tap one of the following:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

To reset or clear the call log or history, follow these steps:

  1. From any Home screen, tap the All apps  icon.
  2. Tap the Call history icon (bottom left, looks like a clock).
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Clear call log.

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

To view call logs or history, follow these steps.

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Call history icon (bottom left, looks like a clock).
