Clear cache / cookies / history

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Settings and scroll to the 'Advanced' section.
  4. Tap Privacy > Clear browsing data > ADVANCED.
  5. Set the Time range drop down to All time.
  6. Select the options to clear:
    • Browsing History
    • Cookies & Site data
    • Cache images and files
    • Saved passwords
    • Autofill form data
    • Site settings
  7. Tap Clear data > CLEAR

 

Open / close tabs / windows

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the square in the top right corner. The number inside the square shows you how many tabs you have open.
  3. To open a new tab, tap the + icon. To close a tab, tap the X icon.

 

Turn on / off JavaScript

  1. Swipe up on the Home screen to view your apps, then tap Chrome.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots at the top right.
  3. Tap Settings and scroll to the 'Advanced' section.
  4. Tap Site settings > JavaScript.
  5. Tap the switch to turn JavaScript on or off.
