Use these steps to support network settings on the T-Mobile REVVL.

APN & data settings

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks > Access Point Names.
  4. If available, tap the T-Mobile US APN (the bullet point fills with green). If not available, tap Menu > New APN. To reset your APN settings, tap Menu > Reset to default.
  5. Verify and update the following settings for the Data APN:
    • Name: T-Mobile US LTE
    • APN: fast.t-mobile.com
    • Proxy: <Not set>
    • Port: <Not set>
    • Username: <Not set>
    • Password: <Not set>
    • Server: <Not set>
    • MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    • MMS proxy: <Not set>
    • MMS port: <Not set>
    • MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
    • MCC: 310
    • MNC: 260
    • Authentication type:<Not set>
    • APN type: default,supl,mms

    • APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
    • APN roaming protocol: IPv4
    • Enable/disable APN: <greyed out unless there are multiple APNs>
    • Bearer: Unspecified
  6. Tap Menu > Save.
  7. Tap the desired APN profile you want to use. The bullet point fills with green next to the APN profile.

Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks > Network carriers > Search networks.
  4. Tap the desired network.

Switch 2G / 4G

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks > Preferred network type.
  4. Choose from the following:
    • LTE On (Automatic LTE/3G/2G)
    • LTE Off (Automatic 3G/2G)
    • LTE/3G
    • 2G only

Turn on / off airplane mode

Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows app and menu use but prevents voice or Internet use.

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap the Airplane mode switch on or off.

Turn on / off data roaming

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks.
  4. Tap the Data roaming switch to on or off.

Turn on / off mobile data

There are two ways to enable or disable mobile data. Both operations perform the same thing.

Cellular data switch

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap Data usage.
  3. Tap the Cellular data switch on or off

Data enabled switch

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks.
  4. Tap the Data enabled switch on or off.

Turn on / off VoLTE

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Under ‘WIRELESS NETWORKS,’ tap More.
  3. Tap Cellular networks > VoLTE.
  4. Tap the VoLTE switch or off.
